General
The following settings are available:
Autosave
Configure the number of changes after which the current state within an editor is automatically saved. This feature is activated by default. You can turn it off if you prefer to save your progress manually.
Automatically saving after a number of changes is available in the following editors:
Graphical editor
Tabular editor
Notebook
Translation editor
In addition to automatically saving after a number of changes, ADOIT also saves the following changes when your session has expired due to inactivity:
changes in the graphical editor
changes in the tabular editor (when opened based on a model)
changes in the Notebooks of models and modelling objects
However, if you close the browser tab without logging off, and then log in again to ADOIT while your session is still running, ALL unsaved changes will be lost.
Notifications
Choose what notifications you want to appear in ADOIT.
To turn on notifications when creating relations by drag and drop in the Explorer, select the option Show information dialog when creating relations.
To turn on notifications when clicking a link that opens an external website, select the option Show warning when opening external links.
To enable a hint about creating relations by drag and drop in the Notebook, select the option Show hint when opening notebooks.
Languages
Select your preferred language for email notifications. ADOIT automatically sends out email notifications when specific events occur. For example, users are notified when their attention is required for a step in a release workflow.
Printing
The following settings are available:
Corporate Identity
Only available if at least two corporate identity schemes have been configured. Select which
corporate identity scheme is set as default for [printing models to PDF](/adoit/fr/docs/17.0/user_manual/pubwc-000000#pubwc-300000) and
[creating reports](/adoit/fr/docs/17.0/user_manual/pubwc-000000#pubwc-100000).RemarqueCorporate identity schemes can be configured in the ADOIT Administration.
Page Layout
Select which page layout is set as default for printing models to PDF and creating reports. Page layouts determine the appearance of the header and footer.
Write Access to Model
Select whether page breaks and page numbers are visible, if you have write access to a model.
Read Access to Model
Select whether page breaks and page numbers are visible, if you have read-only access to a model.
Page breaks divide models into separate pages for printing. They are displayed as dashed lines in the graphical editor.
Page breaks are defined in the print settings. When you make page layout changes before printing a model and save the print settings, the page breaks displayed in the graphical editor will be updated automatically.
OAuth 2.0 Clients
Only available if at least one application that uses OAuth 2.0 has been allowed access to your ADOIT resources. The following settings are available:
- To revoke access for an application, click the Revoke access button .
OAuth 2.0 clients can be configured in the ADOIT Administration.
Modelling
The following settings are available:
Mode
Define what should happen to objects and connectors in models that do not match the current mode.
Example
Objects and connectors not used in the current mode can be represented in grey or entirely hidden from the active model.
Rectangular Connectors
Make ADOIT draw right-angled connectors automatically. Clear this check box to make ADOIT draw straight connectors instead.
Bridges
Draw bridges if connectors cross.
Crosshair
Show a crosshair when modelling.
Move Along
Resizable objects and aggregations can act as container objects for other objects. When you drag such a container around the drawing area, objects placed inside are moved along if you press and hold the <Shift> key at the same time.
Clear this check box if you want contained objects to move along at all times (without simultaneously pressing the <Shift> key).
The ArchiMate Application Library does not contain any aggregations (but all object types except the Junction are resizeable by default).
Hover Modelling Assistant
Show a set of controls when an object is selected in the graphical editor. You can use these controls to add objects to the model and to perform other actions such as opening the Notebook or generating a URL.
