Uninstall ADONIS
Uninstall the ADONIS Web Client
In order to uninstall the ADONIS web client:
Stop the ADONIS application server and the Apache Tomcat web server (see Start the ADONIS Web Client).
Uninstall the ADONIS application server as a Windows service (see Uninstall ADONIS Application Server).
(Optional) In ADONIS 12.0, load balancing is handled differently than in earlier versions of ADONIS. It is no longer necessary to run Apache HTTP server. To remove Apache HTTP Server:
Open the Windows Command Prompt with administrator rights and navigate to the folder "<Apache HTTP server installation>/bin".
Type
httpd.exe -k uninstall
to remove the Windows Service (e.g. "Apache2.4").Delete the Apache HTTP server installation directory, e.g.
C:/apache24
.
Delete the rich client cache:
- Delete the BOC folder in the %APPDATA% directory.
Delete the ADONIS application server cache:
Delete the BOC folder in the directory "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\config\systemprofile\AppData\Roaming".
Delete the BOC folder in the directory of the Windows user under which the ADONIS application server service is configured to be run (e.g. "C:\Users\<USER>\AppData\Roaming".
Delete the Apache Tomcat web server cache:
Delete the file
ADONIS12_0.war
and the folder „ADONIS12_0“ in the directory "<Tomcat installation>/webapps".Delete the file
ADONIS12_0.xml
in the directory "<Tomcat installation>/conf/Catalina/SERVER_NAME".Delete the folder „ADONIS12_0“ in the directory "<Tomcat installation>/work/Catalina/SERVER_NAME".
Move all log files in "<Tomcat installation>/logs" that contain either "ADOxx" or "ADONIS" in their name to a backup folder.
Uninstall the ADONIS Rich Client
In order to uninstall the ADONIS rich client, please use the software management in the control panel of the operating system.
