How do I get my initial password?
How you receive your initial credentials for ADONIS, ADOIT or ADOGRC depends on the configured authentication method and on the selected deployment variant. There are the following possibilities:
Possibility 1: No need to enter a password
If the configured authentication method allows to authenticate you automatically, then no password has to be entered. You will be automatically logged in to your BOC product as soon as you open the tool.
In this case you will not receive any password at all.
Possibility 2: Use your Windows password
In certain configurations you can log in to your BOC product with your Windows user. Use your usual Windows credentials to log in.
In this case you will not receive a separate password for your BOC product.
Possibility 3: Your administrator will send you the password
In certain cases you will receive your initial password from the ADONIS-, ADOIT- or ADOGRC-administrator of your company. In the course of your first login, you will usually be asked to change this initial password to a secret password.
If you have not received your password:
Check your email. Keep in mind that you might have received the email with the password already some time ago.
Check the spam folder in your email program. The email with the password might be there.
If you really have not received the password, contact the BOC product administrator of your company.
Possibility 4: BOC will send you the password
If you use a BOC product from our SaaS offering, you may receive your initial password from BOC by email. In the course of your first login, you will be asked to change this initial password to a secret password.
ADONIS Community and ADOIT Community
If your are a Community user and have not received an email with credentials, make sure that mails from BOC are not blocked by your mail server or mail service provider. Please check your Spam Inbox as well.
If you have not received your password:
Check your emails. Keep in mind that, you might have received the email with the password already some time ago.
Check the spam folder in your email program. The email with the password might be there.
If you have recently signed up for a SaaS edition of a BOC product, please be patient. It may take a few hours before the initial password is sent to you.
If you really have not received your password, contact BOC technical support.
