Hardware and Software Requirements

Architecture

ADOIT instance	ADOIT instance which is deployed either on premise, in a private cloud or at BOC cloud services. The deployment must be accessible from the ADOIT x Confluence App and the Feature and Foundation Services.
ADOIT Forms (client-side)	The part of ADOIT Forms that is executed directly in the web browser of the user.
ADOIT Forms (server-side)	The part of ADOIT Forms that is executed on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
ADOIT web client	ADOIT running in the web browser of the user.
BOC Cloud Services	Cloud-native application services provided by BOC and hosted on AWS.
Web browser	Web client used to access both ADOIT instance and ADOIT Forms by the user.
OAuth	OAuth 2.0 component provided by ADOIT.
REST API	RESTful endpoints provided by ADOIT.

ADOIT	Enterprise Edition: ADOIT 17.1 or higher
Recommended Browser	Microsoft Edge Google Chrome

ADOIT Setup

This section describes the setup requirements for ADOIT when using ADOIT Forms.

Requirements
Authentication	To read and write data from and to ADOIT instances, the REST API with OAuth 2.0 must be enabled.
CORS policy	CORS has to be enabled.
Security	SSL/HTTPS is required.
RESTful services	Licensed and activated.
User Rights Management	All user and access rights for ADOIT Forms are defined in the ADOIT Administration. NOTE: Only content that the user has write access to, can be updated by the user via ADOIT Forms.
User License	To enable an ADOIT user to access ADOIT Forms, an ADOIT Forms user license has to be assigend to the respective user.
Template Designer	To grant an ADOIT user Template Designer rights, the user must have an ADOIT Forms license, Forms Designer user group and FormsDesigner system role assigned.
Forms Submitter	To grant an ADOIT user Forms Submitter rights, the user must have an ADOIT Forms license assigned and at minimum read access to the root folder Objects.

Hardware Requirements

Make sure the requirements of ADOIT are met.

Depending on the usage scenario of ADOIT Forms, it might be required to increase the hardware resources for ADOIT.
