Uninstall ADONIS

Uninstall the ADONIS Web Client

In order to uninstall the ADONIS web client:

  1. Stop the ADONIS application server and the Apache Tomcat web server (see Start the ADONIS Web Client).

  2. Uninstall the ADONIS application server as a Windows service (see Uninstall ADONIS Application Server).

  3. Delete the rich client cache:

    • Delete the BOC folder in the %APPDATA% directory.

  4. Delete the ADONIS application server cache:

    • Delete the BOC folder in the directory "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\config\systemprofile\AppData\Roaming".

    • Delete the BOC folder in the directory of the Windows user under which the ADONIS application server service is configured to be run (e.g. "C:\Users\<USER>\AppData\Roaming".

  5. Delete the Apache Tomcat web server cache:

    • Delete the file ADONIS13_0.war and the folder   „ADONIS13_0“ in the directory "<Tomcat installation>/webapps".

    • Delete the file ADONIS13_0.xml in the directory "<Tomcat installation>/conf/Catalina/SERVER_NAME".

    • Delete the folder   „ADONIS13_0“ in the directory "<Tomcat installation>/work/Catalina/SERVER_NAME".

    • Move all log files in "<Tomcat installation>/logs" that contain either "ADOxx" or "ADONIS" in their name to a backup folder.

Uninstall the ADONIS Rich Client

In order to uninstall the ADONIS rich client, please use the software management in the control panel of the operating system.
