Uninstall ADONIS NP

Uninstall the ADONIS NP Web Client

In order to uninstall the ADONIS NP web client:

  1. Stop the ADONIS NP application server and the Apache Tomcat web server (see Start the ADONIS NP Web Client).

  2. Uninstall the ADONIS NP application server as a Windows service (see Uninstall ADONIS NP Application Server).

  3. (Optional) In ADONIS NP 11.0, load balancing is handled differently than in earlier versions of ADONIS NP. It is no longer necessary to run Apache HTTP server. To remove Apache HTTP Server:

    • Open the Windows Command Prompt with administrator rights and navigate to the folder "<Apache HTTP server installation>/bin".

    • Type httpd.exe -k uninstall to remove the Windows Service (e.g. "Apache2.4").

    • Delete the Apache HTTP server installation directory, e.g. C:/apache24.

  4. Delete the rich client cache:

    • Delete the BOC folder in the %APPDATA% directory.
  5. Delete the ADONIS NP application server cache:

    • Delete the BOC folder in the directory "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\config\systemprofile\AppData\Roaming".

    • Delete the BOC folder in the directory of the Windows user under which the ADONIS NP application server service is configured to be run (e.g. "C:\Users\<USER>\AppData\Roaming".

  6. Delete the Apache Tomcat web server cache:

    • Delete the file ADONISNP11_0.war and the folder   „ADONISNP11_0“ in the directory "<Tomcat installation>/webapps".

    • Delete the file ADONISNP11_0.xml in the directory "<Tomcat installation>/conf/Catalina/SERVER_NAME".

    • Delete the folder   „ADONISNP11_0“ in the directory "<Tomcat installation>/work/Catalina/SERVER_NAME".

    • Move all log files in "<Tomcat installation>/logs" that contain either "ADOxx" or "ADONIS NP" in their name to a backup folder.

Uninstall the ADONIS NP Rich Client

In order to uninstall the ADONIS NP rich client, please use the software management in the control panel of the operating system.
