Accessibility in ADONIS

The following accessibility features make it easier for people with disabilities to work with ADONIS:

  • You can use a screen reader to read what is displayed on the screen. Alternative texts explain the purpose of buttons and links.

  • Graphics have been designed to conform to the WCAG 2.0 AAA standard. Good legibility is ensured for users with low vision by providing strong contrasts between text and background where needed.

  • Accessibility mode allows users with impairments to more effectively use the "Read & Explore" scenario and, if available, the Organisation Portal.

  • You can navigate through the application and interact with items using the keyboard.

Additionally, in the online help, you can choose between light and dark mode to help you more easily read text.

Accessibility Mode

Accessibility mode allows users with impairments to more effectively use the "Read & Explore" scenario and, if available, the Organisation Portal. When this mode is enabled, the textual view is set as the default model editor. All model types without a textual view configuration will be opened in the tabular editor.

To enable accessibility mode:

  • Click the user symbol in the upper-right corner, and then click Accessibility Mode.
