Manage process drafts

This section outlines the key tasks for managing your drafts in Process Drafter:

Edit or copy drafts

You can edit existing process drafts or create a copy to reuse as a starting point for a new draft.

  • From the start page: Click More icon More on the process draft tile, and then choose Edit or Save as. Or, to open and edit a process draft directly, simply click on it.

  • From the process draft: Click More icon More in the upper right of the page, and then select Save as to create a copy.

note

Once you submit a process draft, it can no longer be edited in the Process Drafter. To make further changes, you’ll need to open the submitted process in ADONIS.

Delete draft

To delete a process draft:

  • From the start page: Click More icon More on the process draft tile, and then select Delete.

  • From the process draft: Click More icon More in the upper right of the page, then select Delete.

In both cases, the Delete dialogue will appear. Choose one of the following options:

  • Delete draft: Removes the draft if it hasn't been submitted yet.

  • Delete from Process Drafter only: Keeps the submitted process in ADONIS but removes the draft.

  • Delete from Process Drafter and ADONIS: Permanently deletes both the draft and the submitted process from ADONIS.

Rename draft

To rename a process draft:

  1. Open the process draft.

  2. Click the pencil icon next to the project name.

  3. Enter the new name and press Enter or click outside the field to save.

note

Once you submit a process draft, it can no longer be renamed in the Process Drafter. To make further changes, you’ll need to open the submitted process in ADONIS.

Filter drafts

To filter process drafts on the start page:

  • Click All Down arrow icon, and then select the option you want:

    • All: View all process drafts.

    • In Progress: View drafts that have been saved but not yet submitted.

    • Submitted: View drafts that have already been submitted.

To find a process draft on the start page:

  • In the Search... box, type the text you want to search for.

All drafts that contain the search string in their name are shown.
