Configure ADONIS Application Server
Before installing the ADONIS application server as a service, the configuration has to be adapted. In order to do so:
- Edit the configuration file
server.confin the folder "<ADONIS installation>/conf".
The most important configuration parameters are listed below. Usually it should not be necessary to change the other parameters.
Alias of the database connection, e.g. an ODBC data source in case of the SQL server.
Type of the database (SQL Server or Oracle).
This parameter specifies the application library that is used by the ADONIS application server. This section is usually commented out. Only adapt this parameter if there are multiple application libraries in the ADONIS database. In this case, enter the language-independent name of the desired application library.
The application server default port. Set to "41410" by default. You only need to change this port if it is already used by other services in your environment, or to set up a load balancing configuration.
Parameter for trusted web login. Normally this should be the IP address of the web server as it needs the trusted login on startup for transferring plugin data and icons (by default set to 127.0.0.1).
Destination for the logging output. By default, the logging output is written to the file
aworker.login the folder "<ADONIS installation>/logs".
