Usage terms

ADONIS Process Mining Essentials (PME) is a microservice hosted in the AWS Cloud (eu-central-1), independent of whether ADONIS is deployed as a SaaS solution or on-premise.

License / Right to Use

ADONIS PME is an add-on module to ADONIS from version 17.0 or higher and available for purchase via the ADONIS Marketplace. Therefore, the usage of ADONIS PME requires a valid right to use ADONIS.

The General Terms and Conditions and Terms of Use Subscription Services of the BOC Group (downloadable and viewable at https://www.boc-group.com/gtc) apply accordingly.

The usage of ADONIS PME is subject to a fair use policy, whereby 20 file uploads per month should not be exceeded. The maximum file size is 1 GB, with a total limit of 20 files.

Except as expressly stated herein, ADONIS PME is provided "as-is" without any warranty. The BOC Group does not guarantee that ADONIS PME will meet the Client’s needs, be error-free, or provide uninterrupted access.

Privacy and Data Usage

The Client retains full rights, title, and interest in all uploaded and output data (collectively, "Client Data"), along with all associated intellectual property rights to such Client Data. The BOC Group may use Client Data solely to provide ADONIS PME to the Client.

The Client shall (1) be solely responsible for all uploaded data, including its accuracy, completeness, timeliness, legality, and appropriateness; (2) obtain and maintain any necessary consents or permissions required by applicable law to use the uploaded data; (3) ensure that uploaded data does not infringe on third-party rights and is not obscene, defamatory, offensive, fraudulent, or otherwise unlawful.

Data derived from or compiled through the use of ADONIS PME—such as statistics, performance metrics, or related telemetric data—each anonymized, will be owned by the BOC Group and may be used for monitoring and improving service performance, identifying technical issues, enhancing user experience, or for any other lawful purpose.

While the BOC Group strongly recommends not uploading personal data to ADONIS PME, the BOC Group cannot technically restrict it. Since ADONIS PME operates as a microservice within the AWS Cloud (eu-central-1), regardless of the Client’s chosen deployment option for ADONIS, Amazon Web Services EMEA Sàrl, 38 Avenue John F. Kennedy, L-1855 Luxembourg, is hereby added as a sub-processor under the existing Data Processing Agreement (DPA) between the parties.

After enabling ADONIS PME, the following data may be processed and stored in the AWS Cloud:

  • UUID of the ADONIS user
  • UUID of the ADONIS database
  • UUID of the ADONIS repository
  • All uploaded data (e.g. event logs)
  • Application usage data (log files)
