New Features in ADOIT 17.2
Welcome to ADOIT 17.2, an update to our Long Term Support (LTS) release, ADOIT 17.0. ADOIT 17.2 contains several enhancements to existing features and includes fixes for issues identified since the release of ADOIT 17.0 LTS.
New Features for All Users
Usage Analysis Improvements
We've made several enhancements to the usage analysis in ADOIT 17.2:
- Excel Export: The result of the usage analysis can now be exported as an Excel file (XLSX format). This is possible both in the References dialogue and the Usage overview for objects.
The References dialogue has been further optimised:
Increased Width: The default width has been increased to fully display the names of listed elements.
State Display: For listed elements that are part of the EA Workflow, such as
Business Process Diagrams or
Processes, the State is now displayed.
Tooltips: References now have tooltips that show the full name on hover.
For details, please refer to the chapter "Usage Analysis" in the User Manual.
Accessibility Improvements
In ADOIT 17.2, we have optimised keyboard navigation for users who rely on the keyboard instead of a mouse. Additionally, we have added missing alternative texts for UI elements, enabling screen readers to identify and convey the purpose of these elements to users.
New Features for ADOIT Administrators
Banner Widget Adjusts to Image Height
Say goodbye to cropped banners! The banner widget on the "Design & Document" start page can now dynamically adjust its height based on the dimensions of your image. This ensures your entire image is displayed as intended.
Update Your Banner Image
If you're upgrading from a previous version of ADOIT, you'll need to update your current banner to benefit from this new feature. Upload a new image in the Corporate Identity settings and activate the new option Flexible height for the banner image.
You will achieve good results using images with an aspect ratio between 4:1 and 16:1. For pixel-based formats (JPEG, PNG, BMP or GIF), we recommend a width of 2000 pixels.
For details, please refer to the section "Corporate Identity" in the Administration Help.
Removed Features
This section lists features that have been removed from ADOIT 17.2.
Settings for Workspaces
As workspaces in ADOIT 17.1 or higher are no longer accessible as objects in the Explorer, administrators can no longer define a default object group for newly created workspaces. The corresponding settings have been removed from the ADOIT Administration.
